Clark Forklift Specifications

Kinds
Clark makes an array of forklift trucks such as narrow aisles, pneumatic trucks and cushion trucks. The different models vary when it comes to the way they operate. Like for instance, heavy-duty forklifts utilized for construction and agriculture are powered by an internal combustion or IC engine. Narrow aisle kinds designed to be used inside warehouses and various other confined spaces run on rechargeable battery.

Lifting Capacity
Based on the kind of Clark forklift trucks, the lifting capacity can vary. Forklifts which are battery-powered have a range from 1100-3000 kilograms, depending on the model. For a greater capacity range, the internal combustion kinds are recommended. They can carry from 1400-8000 kilograms.

Engine
AC batteries, either 36 volt or 48 volt, are utilized to operate Clark electric forklift trucks. The internal combustion or IC engine kinds have 52 to 100 horsepower engines. The IC or Internal Combustion models have automatic transmission with three-speed, two-speed and single-speed types.

Frame/Cab
The center of the forklift is the frame/cab assembly. This includes the operator's overhead protective cover, the seat and the controls. The frame consist of the engine, fuel tank, trans-axle, wheels and transmission.
